INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Fall comfort food just got a little easier with a creamy Tuscan chicken and gnocchi dish that comes together in one pan.
Chef Amy show viewers how to make the flavorful weeknight meal in about 30 minutes.
“This is the perfect dish for busy weeknights when you want something that tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen,” Chef Amy said. “But it comes together in about 30 minutes.”
The dish combines Italian-inspired flavors with minimal cleanup. Chef Amy uses pancetta, which she describes as Italian bacon, along with chicken breast, sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream and fresh herbs.
The recipe also calls for gnocchi, which can be homemade or store-bought.
“Don’t be intimidated by gnocchi,” she said. “The store-bought version works beautifully and saves you time.”
The recipe includes:
Chef Amy also prepared a simple sautéed apple dish made with brown butter, cinnamon and brown sugar.
She recommends Macintosh apples for their soft texture and sweet-tart flavor.
“This takes five minutes and pairs perfectly with the chicken,” she said. “It’s also great over vanilla ice cream.”
The apples cook quickly in the brown butter, creating a caramelized coating reminiscent of apple pie without the crust.
Chef Amy is booking private cooking classes for groups of 12 or more. She also offers the Final Cut Challenge, a team-building event inspired by the Food Network show “Chopped.”
Both options are available for holiday parties and corporate events.
“We’re booking up super fast for the holiday season,” Chef Amy said.
